Obituary of Mildred B. Voss

Mrs. Mildred B. Voss, 104, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 5, 2018. Born in 1913 on the Bellman Family Farm in Buel, New York, she was the daughter of the late Earl L. Bellman and Grace M. Bellman. In 1939 she was wed to Paul R. Voss. They celebrated 77 years of marriage together until his passing on April 17, 2015. Mildred was predeceased by her parents, husband and two sisters Ruth M. Bellman and Jeanne Mabel Hartley. Mildred resided in Canajoharie with her husband and daughter. She enjoyed taking care of their home, cooking, baking, sewing, gardening and camping with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughter, Karen R. Voss of Canajoharie; nephews, Reginald Hartley Jr. of Massachusetts, Kevin W. Hartley of Georgia; and a niece, Margaret Jean Sprink of Arizona. A Graveside Service of Remembrance will be held at the Fort Plain Cemetery in the spring. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie.
