News: BRBS Family Funeral Homes Win 2017 Excellence in Customer Service Award

Amsterdam, NY – Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Family Funeral Homes was presented with the Excellence in Customer Service Award for achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction in 2017 by the Johnson Consulting Group. The national award recognizes a select few funeral homes who achieve the highest total satisfaction scores from responses to surveys sent to each family they served throughout 2017.

Amsterdam's Annual Halloween Parade

It's the time of year again for Amsterdam's annual Halloween parade, sponsored by the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks Amsterdam Lodge #101! This year, the parade will be held on Saturday, October 27th at 1PM sharp! The parade route will start at the corner of Guy Park Ave and Evelyn Ave. The review stand will be located in the parking lot of the office of Dr. Selbert at 93 Guy Park Ave. You're invited to come in costume and enjoy the ghoulish good time. Candy will be dispensed along the parade route for the children. Adults: please watch your children! We want everyone to have a SAFE and fun time. There is NO rain date this year, so keep your fingers crossed for great weather! Please use the documents in this thread if you would like to participate IN the parade. Natural Burial Seminar

Oktoberfest: United Way 5K

Kick off Amsterdam’s 2018 Oktoberfest with a 5k run/walk. The course takes you over the scenic Mohawk Valley Gateway Overlook pedestrian bridge and along the Mohawk River bike trail. Register online in advance using the tickets link for a discounted fee or in person the morning of the race. All participants receive a T-shirt. Park at the Amsterdam Riverfront Center on the top deck of the garage and use the walkway to access Riverlink Park.

Liberty ARC's Denim & Diamonds BBQ and Country Concert

Join Liberty ARC, on Saturday, September 16th from 5:30-10:30, as we celebrate our 60th Anniversary with a good ole' fashion BBQ and Country Concert!

One of the Capital Region's HOTTEST country bands Skeeter Creek will be headlining the event.

This event is $20 (food & concert included) and open to the public. We'd LOVE for you to join us!

All proceeds to benefit the building of a Community Sensory Playground at Liberty ARC.

Liberty ARC is the largest provider of services to individuals with intellectual, developmental and other disabilities throughout Montgomery County, NY. The agency provides traditional day, vocational, residential, recreational and family support programs to nearly 529 adults and children with varying disabilities.
