Brad Sabatelli

Obituary of Brad Sabatelli

After complications during a recent illness, Brad Sabatelli passed away on July 30, 2018.   As was true of his beloved mother, Eva Sabatelli, Brad was a much-loved, uniquely generous and humble, gentle soul.  He was born on December 16, 1958, in Schenectady, NY.  He later lived in Galway, NY, where he graduated from high school. He lived in Wilton, NY for the past twenty four years.

Brad proudly worked and served with one company in the health care field for thirty five years, caring for and enriching the lives of disabled adults.

And yet, in his own life, his personal manner touched the lives of countless others, from neighbors and friends, to strangers, even cab drivers.

In recent years, he followed national politics, closely, and was fascinated by aspects of science and history, especially where they converged, as with his frustration regarding climate change.

A highly informed, knowledgeable sports and music fan, he reserved a special, lifelong passion for "the boys from Liverpool"--the Beatles, and the New York Jets.

Predeceased by his mother, Eva Sabatelli.  He is survived by two brothers, Randy Sabatelli of Ballston Spa, NY; Arnold Sabatelli, of Bethany CT, and a sister, Lisa Covey, of Broadalbin, NY.  One sister-in-law, Dwyn DeSilver of Bethany, Arnold's wife.  One brother-in-law, Clyde Conklin of Broadalbin, NY, Lisa’s husband. Nephews and nieces, Nicolas, Gabriel, and Sofia Sabatelli, of Bethany. Anthony, and Amanda Covey, Austin Conklin, and two great nephews, Anthony, and Tyler Covey, all of Broadalbin. One aunt, Mrs. Donna Salerno of Scotia, and one uncle, Don Kittle, of Greenwich, NY. A beloved cousin Mike Cambage, Clifton Park, NY.  Two wonderful, close friends, Kevin O’Brien, and Ellen Phillips.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
