Obituary of Joann Meyers

Joann Meyers age 69 yrs. of Amsterdam passed away August 9, 2018 she was  born on March 9, 1949 in Amsterdam and is the daughter of the late Joseph C. and Shirley China.

She is survived by two sons Eric Cichy  Sr;  Brenda  Cichy, and Ryan (Sara) Cichy, and a daughter Shannon (Timothy) Buckley. A brother Joseph C. (Susan) China Jr; grandchildren Eric Jr., Kailee, Adam, MacKenzie, William, Dylan, Brandon, Courtney, and Lauryn.  Three great grandchildren Michael, Dean, and Tristan. 

Besides her parents she is also predeceased by the love of her life James Meyers Jr. who passed away July 6, 2017.

During her lifetime she worked as a case worker for Montgomery County Social Services. Lately she enjoyed her daily workouts at the Alpin Haus Gym where she would go every day, and she was also an avid reader. She was all about her family, and enjoyed being part of their lives.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 10 to 12 noon where then a 12 noon funeral service will take place at the funeral home, with a burial in the family plot of the Fairview Cemetery next to her late husband to follow.
