Obituary of Larry F. Cardillo

Larry F. Cardillo, 72, of Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on September 12, 2018 surrounded by his family.  Born on August 25, 1946, he was the son of the late Carmen and Julia Cardillo.

A lifelong city resident, Larry was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School and retired from Amsterdam Printing & Litho in recent years.  Larry's greatest pleasure was spending time at the family’s camp at Sacandaga Lake.

He is survived by his sister Barbara and her husband Frank “Chick” Bianchi; his nieces and a nephew, Alison (and her husband George Negron), Eric and Katie Bianchi.  Larry is also survived by many other family members, including his special aunt and cousin, Lorraine Miskinis and Paula Carosella.

A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, with the Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Casimir’s Cemetery.  A gathering for family and friends will take place one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m.
