Obituary of Timothy Joseph Scutt

Timothy Joseph Scutt, 45,  of Fonda, New York,  passed suddenly on December 1, 2018.

He was born in Amsterdam New York on May 24, 1973 to Carlton and Sandra Scutt. Timothy attended Fonda Fultonville school followed by vocational schools after and throughout the years.

Tim found his passion working on campers and motorhomes and fixing just about anything. He loved to affectionately refer to them as “Rolling pieces of junk” He followed his interest by working at Alpin Haus Boat and RV warehouse and most recently Albany RV.   Tim’s last job was working at Long Energy in Schenectady  which he thoroughly enjoyed. Tim picked up many friends at these places that will miss his contagious mischief and practical jokes. His customers will miss his work and knowledge dearly.

Tim loved the game of pool whether in a bar or on a league with his wife. It’s a hobby he taught her and they enjoyed playing together. He made many friends in the name of pool and Jack Daniels.   He also enjoyed gaming with his friends and riding his Harley.

Tim loved dearly his friends and considered many of them his brothers.

He enjoyed being around the farm with his sons, he loved playing with children, especially being a “paw-paw” to his granddaughter. he always had a story to tell. He had a passion for helping others and found more enjoyment in giving then receiving as seen by the impact he had on all.

Timothy is survived by his wife Rebecca Dumar Scutt, their two sons Timothy Logan and Grayson Joseph and was a loving father to Becca’s daughters Megan Kate and Emily Elizabeth. He also was “Paw-paw” to his granddaughter Kallie May Elizabeth.
