Obituary of Rose A. Goff

_{Mrs. Rose A. Goff, 83, of Montgomery Street, Canajoharie, NY died peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018.  Born in County Mayo, Ireland on May 8, 1935 she was one of eight children born to Michael and Mary Lally.}

_{In 1953 she immigrated to the United States settling with family in Chicago.  After a few years she relocated to New York City to work in the opening of the Top of the Sixes.  She married the love of her life Joseph in the Bronx and raised 7 children in Yonkers, NY.  She relocated with her family to Canajoharie 31 years ago.}

_{She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Goff; seven children, Andrew (Colette) Goff, Mary (Werner) Stiegler, Cathy (Dennis) Goff- Pryzgoda, Joseph (Patricia) Goff, Eileen Goff, Patrick (Mary) Goff, Noreen (Jeff) Kenyon; four siblings, Bridget, Margaret, Sadie, Michael; seventeen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.}

_{She was predeceased by three siblings Thomas, Mary and Kathleen.}

_{A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 11 o'clock at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church, 115 Reid Street, Fort Plain, NY 13339.  Burial will follow in St. Peter’s & Paul’s Cemetery, Canajoharie.  Calling hours will be held Monday, December 17, 2018 from 4 until 7p.m. at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie, NY 13317.}
