Obituary of Peter Kowalczyk

       Peter F. Kowalczyk, 65, of Tribes Hill, NY, passed away Peacefully on December 31, 2018.

Born in Perth, NY.  He was the son of Joseph and the late Irma (Stuart) Kowalczyk. 

     Peter graduated from the former Perth Central School District.  He married his wife Valerie Dopp on June 30, 1984. 

     Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and the Sunday picnics at the pond.  He loved animals. Especially his dog Vena and Cat Kit. 

     Peter’s passion was being Santa Claus for many many years.  Peter found great joy putting on his Santa suit and bring joy to children.   Peter enjoyed making people happy.

    Peter is survived by his beloved wife Valerie.  His brothers, Michael and Joseph (Robin) Kowalczyk.  Sisters, Patricia (Gary) Weaver, and Rebecca (David) Dopp.  Several nieces and nephews and many many friends.  He is predeceased by his sister Judy (Richard) Hoyt  on  January 18, 2017. 

     A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Saturday January 12, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the Perth Town Hall, 1849 County Highway 107, Amsterdam, NY 12010.    Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.  Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com .
