Obituary of Luann Marie Sawyer

Luann Marie Sawyer,  age 60, of Johnstown, passed away Monday morning, February 11, 2019 at her home, following a short illness.

 

She was born September 5, 1958 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Harvey and Janice Morgan Glover. She was employed as a Home Health Aide for several years and later worked at Coleco Industries in Mayfield. She worked at Taylor Made for 24 years until her retirement in 2017.

 

A loving wife, Luann enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends.

 

Luann is survived by her husband of 24 years, William F. Sawyer; two step-children, William T. Sawyer and Jeremiah A. Sawyer; three step-grandchildren, Tyler Sawyer, Madison Sawyer and Hailey Sawyer; three sisters and a brother, Darlene Lake (Robert), Pamela  Nellis (Randy), Michael  Glover (Connie) and Cindy  Glover (Sharon Gordon);  many cousins, nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Angela Desrochers and a brother, Jefferson David Glover.

 

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
