Obituary of Alfred A. Hayes, Sr.

Mr. Alfred A. Hayes, Sr. of Amsterdam, NY entered into eternal life on March 18, 2019.  He was 88 years old.

Al loved to tinker in his garage, taking anything with an engine apart and then putting it back together to make it run.   He was well known and everyone called him the lawn mower man.

He is survived by three sons, Alfred, Carl and Howard Hayes; his “adopted” son, Daron Lott; and many close friends. 

At the family’s request there are no funeral services.  Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi & Belligner Family Funeral Home.
