Obituary of William Dybowski

William Dybowski, 90, of Miami Avenue, Amsterdam, NY entered into eternal rest on May 31st, 2019.

Born on January 9th, 1929 in Galway, NY he was the son of the late Karol and Karolina (Lubinetcki) Dybowski. William attended school in Delanson, he was of Catholic faith. He dedicated 30 years as a foreman for the city of Amsterdam before earning his retirement in 1984. He bravely served our country as part of the United States Airforce. William was a longtime member of the Esperance Elks Club #2507. He was joined in marriage to Roselyn Walsh on April 10th 1952.

William  is survived by his children, Larry (Rhonda) Dybowski of Vacaville, CA, Cheryl (Robert) Palmatier of Hagaman, Caroline (Sam) Lizzio of Palm Coast, FL, Linda (Aleck) Paro of Glen, Cindy (Arnold) Paro of Amsterdam, and Charles Dybowski of North Dakota; his 12 grandchildren, Elisa Matthews of Texas, Scott Palmatier of Amsterdam, Karen Palmatier-Mason of Broadalbin, Timmy Billington of Schenectady, Rachel Stark of Perth, Michelle Wetsky of Mill Point, Jason Dybowski of Lost Valley, Shauna Paro of Amsterdam, Heather Rose of Sprakers, Lauren Ferlazzo of Broadalbin, and Marissa LaPointe of South Glens Falls; he also has 21 great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. He is predeceased by his parents; his beloved wife Roselyn, his son William J. Dybowski; his grandsons Tommy Billington and Shane Dybowski, his brothers, John and Joseph Dybowski; his sisters Mary Swiercznki, Stella Roy, Josephine Tylutki, and Frances Litwa; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Williams wishes there will be no funeral services prior to his interment at Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill, NY, which will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
