Obituary of JoAnn Dingman

Mrs. JoAnn Dingman, 66, of Palatine Bridge, NY died peacefully on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany.  Born on August 28, 1952 she was the daughter of Jean C. Labonte and the late Joseph Labonte.

A lifelong area resident, JoAnn attended local schools and was a graduate of Canajoharie High School.  She was a homemaker all of her life, caring for her family.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul Dingman and her father Joseph.

Survivors include her mother, Jean (Borden) Labonte; her children, Bryan Van Gorder of Los Angeles, CA, Kelly Van Gorder of Palatine Bridge, NY and Justin Dingman and his wife Amy of Clermont, FL; two grandchildren Ella and Eric; three brothers, Joseph Labonte and his wife Judy of Gabriels, NY, John Labonte and his wife Suk-Yi of Allen, TX and James Labonte of Canajoharie, NY; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville.  Burial will follow in the family plot at Maple Avenue Cemetery, Fultonville.  Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Thursday, prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 11a.m.
