Mrs. Molly M. Clark, age 88, of Gloversville, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.
She was born March 24, 1932 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Harold and Rosena Tyrrel Wessels. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and Fulton Montgomery Community College with a business degree. She was employed as an administrative assistant by the former Gloversville Federal Savings and Loan Association for 20 years until her retirement.
Molly was Past President of the Gloversville Lions Auxiliary. She enjoyed antiques, and local history. She also enjoyed spending hours in her garden. In her retirement years she loved to travel and attend Classic Car Shows, both local and nationally.
She is survived by three children, Steven Clark (Debbie Watnem) of Gloversville, Valerie Orlowski (Mark) of Amsterdam and Amanda S. Clark (Mark Hooper) of Harrisville; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She touched so many lives along the way and she will be missed by friends and family alike.
In addition to her parents, Molly was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Clark; a son, Kent Anthony Clark; a daughter, Johanna Clark, a brother, John Wessels and a sister, Mary Wessels.
Due to the Covis-19 Outbreak, a memorial service will take place at a later date and will be announced by Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
Interment will take place at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown.
The family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Nathan Lataeur Hospital for their companionate care of Molly in her final days.
