Obituary of Jacqueline McCreight

Mrs. Jacqueline McCreight, age 87, of Gloversville, passed away Monday June 29, 2020 at her home in Gloversville.

 

She was born June 22, 1933 in Lock Haven, PA the daughter of the late Edward and Ruey Kemerer. She was employed for many years as a Secretary by the Gloversville YWCA. She enjoyed strong friendships, music, gardening, and being active in Church.

 

Jacqueline is survived by husband Dean McCreight; her son Thomas McCreight; her daughter Elaine Swaine (John); grandchild, Alec McCreight; nephew Edward Brown, and extended family members.

 

In addition to both of her parents, Jacqueline was predeceased by sisters Caroline Kemerer, Lola Munro, and Joan Brown.

 

Due to covid-19 restrictions, on Thursday July 2nd at 2pm there will be a live streaming Memorial Service from the Mayfield Presbyterian Church’s Facebook page with the Rev. Bonnie Orth.  There will also be an invitation to the service through Zoom found at Mayfieldpresbyterianchurch.org.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer’s Association.
