Obituary of Ellis S. Dennison

Mr. Ellis S. “Bubby” Dennison, 78 of Youngs Corners Road, Town of Florida died suddenly on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at his home. 

A lifelong area resident, he was born on November 9, 1941 and was the son of the late Ellis and Helen Peters Dennison.  For many years he operated the Dennison Family Farm.

He was predeceased by his two daughters, Michelle and Jean; his wife of 54 years, Cheryl on April 15, 2020; and his sister, Doris Kietzmann.

Survivors include his son, Robert E. Dennison; two granddaughters, Jaylynn and Allie; one sister, Arlene Koontz and her husband Bert; one sister-in-law, Doreen Perretta and her husband Donald; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place in Chuctanunda Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Florida Reformed Church, 6255 State Highway 30, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
