Obituary of Anita Panagiotis

Mrs. Anita Panagiotis, age 81, of Gloversville, passed away on Saturday August 29, 2020 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

 

She was born April 14, 1939 in Nyack, NY the daughter of Clarence and Theresa Konecni Bloomer. She enjoyed painting, quilting and sewing. She was an accomplished artist.

 

Anita is survived by her loving husband Gust Panagiotis, their daughters Carrie Panagiotis and Katina Bjorkstrand; five grandchildren, Rose, Andrew, Daniel, Nicholas, and Elena; four great-grandchildren, AJ, Atlas, Alex, and Ava; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members

 

Keeping with Anita's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services at this time.

 

A private interment will take place at Shawangunk Cemetery in Wallkill, NY.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Diabetes Foundation or to a charity of your choice in Anita's name.
