Obituary of Vincenzo Belli

Mr. Vincenzo Belli, 86, of Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2020.  Born in Baranello, Italy on July 4, 1934 he was the son of the late Nicola and Filomena Belli.

 

In 1972 he immigrated to America and settled in Amsterdam.  For over 20 years he worked for General Electric in Schenectady. He was a parishioner of the former St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.  He was also a member of the Columbian Social Club, The Sons of Italy and the Southside Bocci Club.  Vincenzo will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

 

Survivors include his beloved wife, Adele, whom he married on September 12, 1959; four children, Nicola “Nick” Belli and his wife Karen, Filomena Belli, Maria Busch and Luisa Belli; four grandchildren, Jessica, Gabrielle, Victoria and Vincenzo “Enzo.”

 

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place in St. Michael’s Cemetery.  Donations in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205 www.alz.org
