Obituary of Ronald F. Milonovich

Ronald F Milonovich, 84, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, June 6, 2021.  Born in Amsterdam to Leo and Evelyn (Bubniak) Milonovich he grew up the second oldest of seven children.  

 

He was predeceased by a brother Daniel (Linda) Miller and sister Evelyn (Melvin) Pearo. 

 

He is survived by his companion Carol E Cromer,  his three sons: Gary J Milonovich of Amsterdam, Mark E Milonovich of Amsterdam and Paul J (Victoria) Milonovich of Colonie, his three grandchildren: Jenna Milonovich of NYC, Brandon Milonovich of Ossining NY and Courtney Milonovich of Latham NY.  He is also survived by siblings: Robert (Christa Harding) Milonovich, Malcolm (Penny) Milonovich, Patricia (Paul) Naujeck and Michael (Sally) Milonovich, numerous nieces and nephews. 

 

He attended Wilbur Lynch High School (Class of 1953) and The State University of New York, Agricultural and Technology Institute in Cobleskill, NY graduating in 1957.  After receiving his college education, he proudly served with honor in the US Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C from April 1958 until his honorable discharge in April 1960. Upon returning from his military service, he worked at Olbrych Dairy before starting his own concrete foundation business which he ran until he retired. Upon retirement, he enjoyed being a gentleman farmer while raising his cattle, pigs and chickens. Throughout his life he was someone who was always there when you needed him, and his passion for work and his family will be missed forever.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hour on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 12:00PM to 1:00PM with a funeral service to immediately follow at Betz, Rossi and Bellinger Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, New York.
