Obituary of Renee L. Lyker

Mrs. Renee L. Lyker, 35, of Sprakers, New York, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2021 at Mountain Valley Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.  Born on August 12, 1985 in Cobleskill, New York to Charles and Kathleen (Rickard) McMullen, she was a 2004 graduate of Fonda Fultonville high school and a graduate of Fulton-Montgomery Community College.   

On August 26, 2006 she was united in marriage to Daniel Lyker of Sprakers. The couple have shared the past 15 years together, raising their three children. Renee enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, camping, and gardening. She also attended the Christian Church of Charleston Four Corners for many years.

 Her loving family includes her husband, Daniel J. Lyker; their children, Ethan, Justin, and Rachel; her parents, Charles and Kathleen McMullen; her sisters, Sandy (Rich) House, and Rebecca (Zach) Brooker; as well as her niece, Bethany House, and nephew, Austin Brooker. Renee was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Russell and Kathe McMullen, and by her maternal grandparents Howard and Ann Rickard.
