Obituary of Sharon Rose Fosmire

Sharon Cheney Fosmire, 75, of Gloversville, NY passed away at Nathan Littauer Hospital on November 10, 2021.

Born in Gloversville, NY she was the daughter of the late Antwine and Evelyn (Ropeter) Cheney. In 1968 she was married to Richard L. Fosmire Sr. who predeceased her in death in 2004. During their marriage, they enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, playing guitar, dancing and writing music. They also spent time with family and friends singing around the campfire and fishing. Sharon loved playing cards, board games, jigsaw puzzles, watching Impractical Jokers, and keeping up to date on the Global news. She also enjoyed having a cup of tea with family & friends when they stopped in.

Sharon was an impeccable housekeeper and an excellent cook. Her house was adorned with Elvis Presley memorabilia, and her beloved Yankees were always on the TV. She had a great sense of humor and was always finding a reason to smile. Sharon was a very giving person, helping anyone in need, including any animals that crossed her path. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
