Obituary of James A. Carroll

   Mr. James A. Carroll, 65, of Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 29, 2021 at his home. 

    He was born in Amsterdam on December 1, 1956 a son of the late Merton and Florence Dillenbeck Carroll.  He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was a graduate of Canajoharie Schools. 

Mr. Carroll worked on his family farm the Carroll Family Farm for many years.  He also was employed by Green Trucking Co.

   He enjoyed Hunting, stock car racing at Fonda Speedway and the outdoors.  He was a member at one time of the Lutheran Church of Stone Arabia. 

    James is survived by his sister Joy Richards of Fultonville.  His niece, Kristina Richards and nephew,  Eric Richards.  Aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. 

     Graveside services will be held in the spring at  Evergreen Cemetery, Sand Flats, Fonda, NY at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Jackson and Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main St., Fultonville, NY.  Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com
