Obituary of Lauren C. Berner Jr.

Lauren C. Berner Jr; age 75, of Gloversville, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany.

He was born December 10, 1946 in Gloversville, the son of the late Lauren Sr. and Esther Hine Berner. He was President of the former Leavitt-Berner Tanning Corp. Lauren enjoyed traveling west to visit family, going out to dinner, playing golf, snow-skiing and spending time with his pets. His interests included portrait painting, photography and years ago flying ultralight airplanes.

Lauren is survived by his companion of many years, Beverly Henry of Gloversville; a daughter, Tracey Berner of Baldwinsville; a brother, Tony Berner of Johnstown; and a grandson, Corbett Godwin of Gloversville.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Keith Berner.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 3 to 6 pm Saturday, March 26th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville.

A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating.
