Marvin "Butch" Edward Ladeau, age 79, of Gloversville, died Monday morning, March 28, 2022 at Mountain Valley Hospice House, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 16, 1942 in Amsterdam, the son of Lillian Moss Ladeau and the late Edward Ladeau. He served in the US Navy and was later employed by Mohawk Dairy in Fonda and Taylor Made Products. He enjoyed visiting casinos, working in the yard, going out to dinner, collecting die-cast cars, spending time with family and his pet animals.
Butch is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rose A. Heise Ladeau; son, Brian Ladeau; his mother, Lillian Ladeau; four siblings Donald Ladeau, Linda Green (Art), Ronald Ladeau (Julie) and Darlene Partlow (Kyle); as well as several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will take place at the convenience of the family at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
Interment will take place in the spring at Middle Grove Cemetery.
