Obituary of Ruth V. Grovenburg

Ruth Virginia "Ruthie" Grovenburg, age 78, of Utica, died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Oneida Center for Rehabilitation, Utica. She resided in the Glens Falls area most of her life.

She was born January 16, 1944 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Martin and Virginia (Cheney) Grovenburg. She loved her family and friends and never knew a stranger. Her love of Bingo was well known to all.

Ruthie is survived by a son, Henry Grovenburg; grandsons Justin and Patrick; siblings Dorothy Stoddard, Regina Deere (William) and Kenneth Wilson; many nieces and nephews including Gina Johnson (Sam) of Pinnellas, Florida and Davis Palmer (Lynne) of Tallahassee, Florida.

Private burial will take place at Bay Street Cemetery, Glens Falls.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
