Obituary of James Ronald Dingman

Mr. James Ronald Dingman, age 70, of Gloversville, New York, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

He was born on April 5, 1952 in Gloversville, the son of John and Nettie (Wilder) Dingman. He was employed as a leatherworker by, Arrow Leather of Johnstown, New York. He enjoyed a simple life, enjoying the simple things, like being outdoors, a cold beer, and socializing. James was loved by all who knew him. He served as an usher at Believer's Fellowship Pentecostal Church in Johnstown, and when he was home he enjoyed watching NASCAR and wrestling on TV. his favorite past-time was being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

James is survived by his children: Jamie (Robert) Love, Judith (Dave) Thompson, Sharyn Thompson, and Sandra Thompson; his grandchildren: Cassandra, Kristofer, Heather, Paul, Amanda, Christopher, Gerhad, Rashad, Andre, Bradley, Sandra, Linton; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is also survived by his sister: JoAnn (Charles) LeBaron; and his children's mother: Kathleen F. Shanahan. 

He was predeceased by his parents: John E. and Nettie R. (Wilder) Dingman; and his siblings: Rose Andrews, Eleanor Bushnoe, and Robert Dingman.

Services for James will be held privately, at the convenience of his family.
