Obituary of Nicholas J. Brown

Nicholas J. “Boogie” Brown, 21, of Broadalbin, NY died suddenly on Tuesday, November, 22, 2022.  Born in Amsterdam, NY on July 21, 2001, he was the son of Jennifer Brown and Nicholas Litts.

Boogie was a 2019 graduate of Broadalbin- Perth High School as well as HFM Boces.  A dedicated worker, he was first employed as a custodian and bus aide and most recently as a Direct Support Professional at Liberty ARC.   He enjoyed roller-skating, fishing, being a Dad and working on cars with his best friend, and Bruh, Hector Muniz.  He also was a past volunteer with the Perth Fire Company.  Boogie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ida and Gordon Brown; and his friend, Damon Person.

Survivors include his fiancé, Katelynn Primeau and their son, Nicholas Jeffrey Brown, Jr.; his mother, Jennifer Brown Braender and her husband Ryan; his father, Nicholas Litts (Sarah Williams); siblings, Dylan Brown, Noah Braender, Ryan Braender Jr., Nicole Braender, Hailey Litts, Sierra Litts, Kaven Litts; paternal grandparents, Tom and Tracy Hulett; his mother-in-law, Michelle (George) Carbonell; his father-in-law, Thomas Primeau; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Service of Remembrance will take place on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 11a.m. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Perth Cemetery.  Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 4p.m. until 7p.m. at the funeral home.
