Obituary of Herma Siciliano

Mrs. Herma Siciliano, 96, of Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2022.  Born in Markoberdorf, Germany on December 21, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Hans and Pepi Pitini Huttner.

In 1955 Herma and her husband Vincent immigrated to the United States.  Herma was employed by the Kerbelis Travel Agency.  She also enjoyed being a homemaker.  Herma will be remembered for being a tremendous baker, teacher, wife and mother; she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent on July 16, 2022.

Survivors include her son, Paul Siciliano; two grandchildren, Lauren and Vincent Siciliano; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 39 St. John Street, Amsterdam, with The Very Rev. O. Robert DeMartinis E.V. as celebrant.  A calling hour will precede the Mass, beginning at 10a.m. at the church. All are invited to attend.
