Obituary of Hilary-Anne Holiday

Hilary-Anne Holiday (née Carmen Rodriguez) passed away peacefully on February 25, 2023, at the Shaffer Heights Apartments in Schenectady, NY.

Hilary is survived by her sisters Louisa Reagan and Ramona Sheehan, and by her brothers Phil Rodriguez and Max Rodriguez. She was predeceased by her sister Norv Wilkins.

Hilary was born on August 1, 1926, in Amsterdam, New York. Her parents were Felisindo and Lucia Rodriguez. She graduated from the Wilbur H. Lynch High School, and obtained an Associate Degree in Performing Arts and Drama from Schenectady County Community College in 1989. She was employed by the federal government at various locations as a budget analyst. She was a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers.

Hilary liked to travel, especially throughout Europe.

There will be a brief ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery (39 E. Main Street, Ft. Johnson, NY) on Saturday, March 11 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were made by Hilary through Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home in Amsterdam. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities Senior and Caregiver Support Services, 1462 Erie Blvd., Schenectady, NY 12305.
