Obituary of Vernon Vouga

Mr. Vernon "Jeff" Vouga, 59, of Gloversville passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, New York.

He was born on September 11, 1963 to Mr. Vernon A. Vouga, and Mrs. Sandra Crankshaw Vouga. 

Jeff attended High School before enlisting in the U.S. Army. Following enlistment he attended Fulton Montgomery Community College where he received his associate degree to become an electrician. He was employed by a number of local companies but most recently PCT in Amsterdam where he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic. 

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially when it involved playing his guitar. 

Jeff is survived by his partner Tammy Savoie, sons; Vernon C. Vouga, Adam Vouga, and Jon Vouga, grandchildren; Aaron Vouga, Sadie Vouga, and Cayden Vouga as well as his good friends Jerry Grant, Kelly Steenburg, Joe and Jay Baker, Matt Chase and many others, especially the ones he loved to make music with.
