Obituary of Anna S. Dziedzic

Anna S. Dziedzic, 96, formerly of Fuller Road in the Town of Florida, passed away Wednesday morning at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility. Born in Powiat, Dambrowa, Poland on July 27, 1909, she was the daughter of Stanley and Sophie Misiaszek Krawczyk. She immigrated to the United States in February 1927 and moved to Rockville, Connecticut and later to Amsterdam in 1941. For a number of years, Anna worked as a sparhand in the spinning department of Mohawk Carpet. She also assisted in the operation of the family farm on Fuller Road in the Town of Florida. She was a communicant of St. Stanislaus? Roman Catholic Church. Anna was the widow of Frank Dziedzic whom she married on June 4, 1930. He passed away in 1950. Her loving family includes her sons, Henry Dziedzic, and Stanley and his wife Joan Dziedzic all from the Town of Florida; two grandsons, Steve and Robert Dziedzic; three great grandchildren; a sister, Jane Rood of Little Falls; nieces, nephews and cousins. Another sister, Julia Gondarowski, predeceased her. Services are Friday at 10:45 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by a Funeral Mass which will celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Stanislaus? Church, Fr. David Mickiewicz, celebrant. Interment is in St. Stanislaus? Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus?
