Obituary of Mary Bloomer

Mrs. Mary Bloomer, 72 years old of State Highway 162, died Wednesday November 2, 2005 at her home in Largo, Florida. Mrs. Bloomer was born February 16, 1933 in Oakland Valley, New York, a daughter of Frank and Linda Masker Hoover. She had resided in Esperance since 1968. Mrs. Bloomer was a housewife who enjoyed working with arts and crafts. She was a member of the Charleston 4 Corners Volunteer Fire Dept. where she was active with the Fire Police. Mrs. Bloomer was also a member of the Canajoharie Moose Club Ladies Auxiliary for over 10 years. She is survived by her husband John E. Bloomer, Jr. whom she married September 21, 1950. Also surviving are three sons: John E. Bloomer III of Esperance, David Bloomer of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Mark Bloomer of Esperance; three daughters: Mary-Ellen Baker of Cobleskill, Mary Jane Schafer of Charlottesville, New York and Hazel Martin of Cobleskill, New York; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Tuesday at Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, New York. Burial will take place in Charleston Christian Church Cemetery at Charleston 4 Corners. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 6 until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one?s choice.
