Obituary of Jason L. Caska

Jason L. Caska, 21, of Hoosick Street, died Friday evening at the Albany Medical Center. Born January 10, 1984, in Amsterdam, New York, he was the son of Bonnie Caska and Scott Parese. He lived in Fonda for ten years before moving to Johnstown. Jason attended Fonda ? Fultonville Schools. He was employed by the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Johnstown and was a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church in Fort Plain. Jason was very devoted to his family and loved spending time with his grandmother. He loved fishing, the outdoors, riding dirt bikes, and loved animals. Survivor?s include his; mother, Bonnie L. Caska of Gloversville, N.Y.; his father, Scott Parese of Leland, North Carolina; a daughter, Michaela E. Caska of Broadalbin; a half brother, Christian Scott Parese of Leland, North Carolina; a maternal grandmother, Joan P. Caska of Palatine Bridge; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Gisela Parese of Mohawk; and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services and calling hours were private. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Fort Plain. Burial was held in Maple Avenue in Fultonville. Memorial contributions may be made in Jason?s memory to the Albany Medical Center ICU, New Scotland Avenue, Albany, N.Y. 12208. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Jackson & Betz Funeral Home in Fultonville.
