Obituary of Stanley R. Kaczor

Stanley R. Kaczor, 76, of State Highway 30; passed away peacefully late Tuesday evening at his home. Born in Amsterdam on March 21, 1929, the son of the late Julian and Mary Frydlo Kaczor, he was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School Class of 1948. A lifelong resident, he retired in 1991 from the General Electric Company in Schenectady as a machinist. A communicant of St. Mary?s Roman Catholic Church, he was a member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club. During the Korean War, he served his country as a corporal in the US Army. Stanley always enjoyed the out doors, and loved to fish, hunt and to go camping. In his later years, he became active in gardening and in agriculture. He was predeceased by his son, Mark S. Kaczor on April 19, 2005. Also, his siblings, Emily Casabonne, Catherine DelliVeneri, Anthony, John, Arthur, Edward and Leonard Kaczor predeceased him. On May 8, 1954, he was united in marriage to the former Roberta ?Claire? Miller. In addition to his wife, his loving family includes his children; daughter Barbara and her husband John Liverio of Amsterdam; sons; Christopher and Bruce Kaczor of Perth; grandchildren; Mark, Steven, Matthew Kaczor; Amanda Hammond, Corey Kaczor, John and Jordan Liverio; great grandchildren; Dillon and Benjamin Hammond; his sister; Josephine Calderoni and her husband Vito of Gloversville; nieces, nephews and cousins. Services are Saturday at 8:30 am at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, followed by the Mass Of Christian Burial at 9:15 am at St. Mary?s Church. Interment is in St. Mary?s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7 pm at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice, or the Perth Volunteer Fire Department, both in care of the funeral home. Stanley?s family wishes to express their gratitude to both Hospice and the Fire Dept. for all the kindness they have shown to the Kaczor family.
