Obituary of Susan E. Danylak

Mrs. Susan E. Frasier Danylak, age 89, of Gloversville, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning, July 11, 2005 at Nathan Littauer Hospital Nursing Home, Gloversville. She was born November 5, 1915 in Osborne´s Bridge in the town of Northampton, one of twelve children of the late George and Lois Roosevelt Frasier. Susan was employed at General Electric Company in Schenectady during World War II, and also at the former S.S. Kresgee store in Gloversville. She later retired from the housekeeping dept. at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. Mrs. Danylak was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Gloversville. On May 30, 1941 she married Walter W. Danylak who died September 14, 1975. She is survived by five sons, Walter W. Danylak Jr. of Syracuse, John L. Danylak Barbara of Nassau, Timothy F. Danylak of Gloversville, Dennis G. Danylak Barbara of Chicago, Illinois and Phillip J. Danylak Sheila of Johnstown; a brother, John Frasier of Broadalbin; two sisters, Abigal Frasier and Nellie Grandy of Johnstown; 8 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her brothers Miles Frasier, Oswald Frasier and Allen Frasier, and by her sisters Florence Simonds, Mildred Sleezer, Mary Frasier, Jessie Sleezer and Isabelle White. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday at the family home, located at 68 E. State Street, Gloversville. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville section on the east side of S. Kingsboro Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 12 James St; Gloversville, NY 12078 or to the Alzheimers Assoc; 85 Watervliet Ave; Albany, NY 12206. Arrangements are by Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
