Obituary of Mary Jo Rave

Mary Jo "Dennis" Rave age 67 yrs. of Fonda passed away January 30, 2018 with her loving family by her side at the St. Mary's Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam on December 14, 1950 and is the daughter of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Robinson) Ault. Mary Jo is survived by her companion David F. Kruger of Fonda, and a daughter Carol J. (Jerry Jackson) Weatherwax of Erwin NC. Three brothers Joseph R. Ault of Opelika Alabama, James P. (Cathy) Ault of Fultonville, and Bob A. (Darlene) Ault of Broadalbin. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Dallas (Madison) Wolfkiel, Autumn Scott, Mark, and Giada Weatherwax. During her lifetime Mary Jo was a lifelong resident of Fonda, she graduated in 1968 from Fonda Fultonville High School, and in 2002 she received her Associates of Social Sciences at FMCC. She was employed for 27 years as an Addiction Therapist for St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam retiring in 2015. Mary Jo was also an owner operator for Dennie's Doggie Treats in Fonda. She was also a member of the Sew Busy Quilt Guild in Gloversville, and a member of the Fultonville Reformed Church. Some of the things Mary Jo enjoyed doing in her spare time where Quilting, Sewing, Knitting, and Crochetting. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam NY 12010 on Friday February 2, 2018 from 6 to 7 pm with a celebration of her life to follow at 7 pm.
