Obituary of Lottie V. Cosentino

Lottie V. Cosentino, 87, of Wall Street died Saturday, July 10, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Amsterdam January 2, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Gruszka Kaszuba. Lottie worked in the paint department of the former Bayshore Industries and at the former Coleco Industries in Amsterdam for several years. She was of Roman Catholic faith and was a parishioner of the former St. Michael the Archangel Church. Lottie married Frank A. Cosentino of Amsterdam July 20, 1946. He predeceased her February 28, 2000 after nearly 50 years of marriage. She loved going to the casinos and also spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her loving family includes her son Anthony Cosentino and wife Shirley of Hagaman, her sisters Jean Miskinis and Helen Krzynowek both of Amsterdam, her granddaughters Kelly Chrzanowski and husband Janek of Colonie and Kim Cosentino of Las Vegas and her great-granddaughters Amanda and Amy Chrzanowski of Colonie. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband, Lottie was predeceased by three brothers, Ray, John and Stanley Kaszuba and two sisters Veronica Marks and Ann Parker. Prayer Services will be at 9:15AM on Monday, July 12, 2010 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 10:15AM at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Reid St., Amsterdam, with Fr. Robert O. DeMartinis as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to Prayers Monday morning from 8:15 to 9:15AM at the funeral home.
