Obituary of Marjorie Moyer

Marjorie Moyer, 85, of Lenora Drive, Hamburg, died peacefully Friday, May 28, 2010 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo. She was born in Worcester, MA January 18, 1925 daughter of the late Kazimirerz and Helen Priligowskas Krajewski. A resident of Amsterdam, NY from age 3, Marjorie moved to Johnstown, NY in 1931 where she was employed with Swears manufacturing. She married William R. Moyer June 28, 1947 and the family eventually moved to Hamburg, NY in 1966 where Marjorie worked as a clerk at JC Penny until her retirement in 1973. She was a communicant of St. Peter and Paul's Church in Hamburg and was a member of the Wanaka Senior Citizens. Her loving family includes her sons William R. Moyer, Jr. of Hamburg and Brian Moyer and wife Fran of Hamburg, grandchildren Jennifer, Michelle and Melissa all of Hamburg. Four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. The Rite of Committal will be at 1:00PM on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at St. Casimir's Cemetery Chapel in Amsterdam, NY with Fr. John Medwid, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY 12010.
