Obituary of Patricia Little

Patricia Little, 75, of Clifton Park, NY, formerly of Amsterdam, NY, has gone to her Eternal rest on Friday, February 16th, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 3rd, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Beatrice Beyer and Robert Persons. Patricia is a graduate of the former St. Mary High School in Amsterdam, Class Of 1960. She went on to obtain her associates degree in Medical Information processing from Fulton Montgomery Community College in 1990. On April 13th, 1976, she married the love of her life John W. Little. It was a strong union that lasted until his passing on November 18th, 2016. Patricia worked with Dr Konieczny. He was an Amsterdam Pediatrician for nearly 30 years and truly enjoyed working with all of the families. It was a highlight of her life that she was able to be involved working with children and the wonderful staff. They were like family to her. Patricia loved quilting, sewing, and photography. She loved baseball and was an enormous New York Mets fan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a very loving and giving woman. Her sincerity, generosity, and benevolence will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her. Patricia is survived by her daughters, Jacqulyn Cieszynski (Thomas), and Kimberly Sumner (Lee); her sons, Patrick Little (Susan) and Christopher Little (Margaret); her grandchildren, Casey Sumner (Emily), Cody Sumner (Emily), Mary Little, Catie Little, Lori Pistana (Josh), and Chad Cieszynski; her sisters, Joan Kilinski (Michael) and Janette Folckemer (Harry), and her brothers, Christopher Persons (Tracy) and Thomas Persons (Elaine). Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband John W. Little; and her dear parents Robert and Beatrice Persons. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 at 11:15 a.m. at St Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY, with Rev. Jeffery L'Arche as Celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY 12871. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, February, 21st 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam NY.
