Obituary of Michael Allen Edwards

Mr. Michael Allen Edwards, 58, of Amsterdam passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 7, 2021.

He was born on August 26, 1963 to Mr. Robert Allen Edwards and Mrs. Therese Kowalczyk Edwards of Gloversville, NY.

Michael is survived by his mother Therese, sister Kimberly Sagindorf, and brother David Robert Edwards as well as his son Joey. He is also survived by his niece Trindalynn Velie as well as his nephews Cody and Christopher Gray.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert.

Michael was a talented artist who loved to draw. He enjoyed music and loved to play his guitar for family and friends. He enjoyed board games, especially Yahtzee and he will be remembered for his charm; Michael made friends with everyone he met.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Ave Amsterdam, NY 12010 on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. A graveside service will take place on Friday, October 15, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery immediately following calling hours.
