Obituary of Kevin P. Boles

Kevin P. Boles, age 69, of Gloversville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Albany Medical Center, Albany.

 

He was born May 6, 1949 in Gloversville, the son of the late Neil and Louise VanAlstine Boles. He attended local schools and served in the US Marine Corps from 1969 until he was honorably discharged in 1971.

 

Kevin was a leather worker for many years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and also loved animals.

 

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Kimberly Rose Boles, whom he married on September 25, 1976; three children, Shaun Boles (Rebecca), Brady Boles (Ciera) and Stacy Boles (Rich); seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his sisters, Donna Boles and Ellen Morgan; his brothers, Neil "Buster" Boles and Robert W. Boles.

 

Cremation will take place at ParkView Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady.

 

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society, 437 Nine Mile Tree Rd; Gloversville, NY 12078.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
