Obituary of Terri Sasso-Lalla

    Theresa “Terri” Sasso Lalla, 51, of Amsterdam,  passed away suddenly on Friday December 13th, 2019 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam.

     Born on February 13, 1968 a daughter of the late Ralph and Concetta “Tina” Petraccione Sasso.  She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a 1986 graduate of Amsterdam High School.  She  went on to attend Herkimer County Community College. 

   Terri was employed for Ward Products in Amsterdam for a number of years and later Amsterdam Family Practice and Amsterdam Orthopedics.  She was a parishioner of the former St. Michael the Archangel Church and currently St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church in Hagaman. 

     Terri enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and friends and playing with her dogs, Frankie and Delilah.

    She was married on September 19, 1989 to Nicholas C. Lalla.  In addition to her husband she is survived by two beloved daughters, Kristina N. Lalla and Courtney M. Lalla.  Two dear sisters,  Linda Ott and Diane Sasso-Defelice.  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. 

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday December 19, 2019 at 11:00AM at St. Stephen’s Roman Catholic Church, 51 N. Pawling St., Hagaman, NY with Father O. Robert DeMartinis as celebrant.  The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday December 18, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00PM at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 4 Pine West Plaza #405, Albany, NY 12205.    Please leave condolences online at www.brbsfuneral.com
