Obituary of Dennis J. Darby, Jr.

Dennis J. Darby, Jr; age 31, of Gloversville, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Albany Medical
Center from complications of Covid-19.

He was born August 11, 1988 in Albany, the son of Dennis Sr. and Teresa Morrison Darby. He was
employed as a Certified Nurse Assistant by The Fulton Center. He was a kind, compassionate, caring
person who was loved by his residents, coworkers and everyone who knew him. He was an avid New
York Yankees fan and enjoyed collecting baseball cards. Watching movies and listening to music of all
kinds brought him much joy, but spending time with his family was what brought him the greatest
happiness.

Dennis is survived by his companion, Staci Morrison of Gloversville; Staci’s two children Robert and
Landon who he thought of as his own; his mother, Teresa "Terry" Darby (John Stacy) of Gloversville; his
aunt, Marie (George) Ingmand; and his cousin, who was more like a sister, Elizabeth (Nathan)Duplago
and their 4 boys; a half brother Ryan Darby; and a half sister Kelly Darby.

He was predeceased by his father, Dennis J. Darby, Sr., paternal grandparents Jack and Charlotte Darby
and maternal grandparents David and Virginia Morrison.

Due to the Covid-19 Outbreak, services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family at
Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville, with the Rev. Bonnie Orth officiating.

Interment will follow at Wells Cemetery, Wells.
