Obituary of Jacqueline Keller-Lasher

     Mrs. Jacqueline Keller-Lasher, R.N., 64, of Amsterdam, passed away on Monday October 16, 2023 unexpectedly at her home.

Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 3, 1958, a daughter of the late Patricia Jones Keller. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She went on to receive her Associate’s Degree from FMCC in nursing.

Jackie was a Registered Nurse and was employed for over 8 years with the St. Johnsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She enjoyed visiting the ocean, spending time with her grandchildren and being a nurse.

She married Nicholas Lasher on September 25,1999.  In addition to her husband Nick, Survivors include her children, Jarod (Tracy) Lasher of Johnstown, NY, Andrew (Steph) Lasher of Seattle, WA, Nicholas Lasher of Amsterdam and Lauren Lasher (Antonio) of Amsterdam. Step-daughter- Melissa Lasher of Amsterdam. One sister, Laura Keller Buch of Amsterdam.  Seven cherished grandchildren, Tyrell, Jackson, Jameson, Trenton, Theodore, Enzo and Aurora. Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Dawn.

A calling hour will be held on Monday October 23, 2023 from 10:00  to 11:00AM at the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY.   A Service of Remembrance will follow at 11:00AM Monday at the funeral home.  Interment is private.
