Obituary of Paul Mendrea

Paul Mendrea, 65, of Gloversville, died Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville.

He was born July 28, 1958, in Uzdin, Serbia, the son of Adam and Maria (Iacsa) Mendrea. He came to New York City as a child with his family and was later employed as a purchasing clerk by Chuo Trust Co. of the World Trade Center.  He came to the Gloversville area in 2005. He loved to travel and hike in the mountains. He was a member of the Adirondack Baptist Church.

Paul is survived by his ex-wife, Maria Nietzsche.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Adam Mendrea; and a brother, Vasa Mendrea.

A graveside service will take place at 10 am Friday, November 3rd at Evergreen Cemetery, Fonda.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Homes, Gloversville.
