Obituary of Mary Noel Reardon

Mary Noel Carona Reardon, 60, of Ballston Lake, passed away Monday at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's with her loving family at her side. Born in Ilion, NY on Christmas Day, 1954, the daughter of Jack C. and Dolores Gorea Carona. She was a 1972 graduate of Colonie Central High. Mary received her Bachelors Degree in English from the College of St. Rose in 1976. She worked as an office manager for Woodruff, Martinez & Schoen Neurologists until the birth of her daughter in 1986. She then began her career as a stay at home mom and re-entered the work force again in 2008. The past 6 years she was employed at the Law Offices of Welt, Gabriels & Schunk. Mary was an active parishioner of the Church of St. Edward The Confessor in Clifton Park where she served as Lector and Religious Ed instructor. She also taught the First Communion Class at the church. She found the time to volunteer with the American Cancer Society and was active in her daughter's sporting and academic activities while she was in school. On May 26, 1985 she was united in marriage to Jude H. Reardon. In addition to her husband she leaves her daughter Jordan T. Reardon Flynn and son- in- law Kevin C. Flynn of Clifton Park; her mother Dolores Carona of Colonie; brothers Jim Carona and his wife Heather Sacre of Indian Wells, Ca., and Jack Carona and his wife Sandra of Delmar; her mother- in- law Roseann Reardon of Waterford; brothers- in- law John and Carol Reardon of Ballston Lake, Stephen and Caren Reardon of Waterford,and sister in law Nancy Hytko of Cohoes; and several nieces and nephews, aunts uncles and cousins. Mary was happily anticipating the birth of her first grandchild in May. She was predeceased by her father, Jack C. Carona, father- in- law John C. Reardon Sr. and brother- in- law Michael Reardon. Mary's family is most grateful to the doctors nurses and staff at NYOH for their wonderful care, especially Dr. Michael Kolodziej and Nurse Practitioner Carrie Kreitner. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Edward The Confessor, 569 Clifton Park Center Rd. by Fr. Patrick Butler, pastor. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the church on Friday from 4-7 pm. Memorials may be made in Mary's name to the Society of the Little Flower, 1313 No. Frontage Rd.
