Obituary of Margaret Lucido

Margaret Lucido, 73, formerly of Cranes Hollow Rd, Amsterdam and most recently of Pottstown, PA, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Pottstown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Amsterdam March 10, 1937 a daughter of the late Kenneth and Evelyn Green Manion. Margaret was a life resident of the area and was a graduate of Wilbur H. Lynch High School. She married August Lucido in Connecticut on April 8, 1967, he predeceased her in 1992. Margaret was a devout catholic and was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. She was also a loving homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family and spending time with them, especially her beloved granddaughter, Rebecca. Her loving family includes her daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Bahm and her husband Robert Bahm, Jr. of Limerick, PA, her granddaughters Rebecca Bahm and Brandy Wnuk Taylor, her sister Mary Carol Burtt, her step-daughters Doreen Wnuk of Amsterdam, Linda Snell of Amsterdam and Cindy Padrick of Florida. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and her husband, Margaret was predeceased by her brothers Robert and William Manion and her sisters Evelyn "Jiggs" Muscato and Anna Mae Grennen. Prayer Services will be at 8:30AM on Monday, March 29, 2010 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam, NY with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 9:15AM from St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, East Main St., Amsterdam, with Fr. John Medwid as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00PM at the funeral home. Contributions in Margaret's memory may be made to Coventry Manor Nursing Home, 3031 Chestnut Hill Rd., Pottstown, PA 19465.
