Obituary of Florence E. Paris

Florence E. Paris, age 90, of Broadalbin, passed away on Saturday October 31, 2009 at home. Florence was born in Gloversville, NY on October 11, 1919 the daughter of the late Fred and Eliese Deichsel Dye. She worked for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles in Schenectady for 20 years. Florence was a member of the New Apostolic Church in Schenectady. She was also a former member of the Gloversville Moose Lodge. Florence was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Florence is survived by her daughter, Connie Harrison Jerry of Broadalbin, a granddaughter Donna Waldvogel Jeff of Broadalbin, a granddaughter-in-law Brenda Stone, seven great grandchildren: Jeffrey Jr., MichaelDanielle, Nicole, AmandaMatt, RussellTajia, Connie, and Jeffrey "J", and two great-great grandsons: Russell Jr. and Tyler. Additional survivors include "Gram's two" Ted and Raymond Stone, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by two husbands: Russell E. Muddle whom she married on July 28, 1940, he passed away in 1987 and on March 25, 1989 she married Charles Paris, he passed away in 1999. Florence was also predeceased by a brother Merril Dye, a sister Marion Born, a grandson Jeff Stone, and a great granddaughter Melinda Stone. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday November 3, 2009 at the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home; 85 West Main Street; Broadalbin. Friends and relatives are invited and may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00p.m. prior to the service. Interment will take place in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville.
