Obituary of Herbert J. Beatty

Herbert J. Beatty, 69, of Carlisle Road, Canajoharie, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 25, 2009. He was born in Goshen, NY February 5, 1940 a son of the late Robert and Louise Greak Beatty. Herb served with the Military Police in the US ARMY during the Vietnam War era. He was also a retired Dairy Farmer who currently worked as a Security Guard for Helmont Mills in St. Johnsville, NY. He enjoyed machinery and was a collector of tractors, trucks or anything with a motor. His loving family includes his brothers, Richard Beatty and wife Donna of Cazenovia, NY, Donald Beatty and wife Danielle of Reston, VA, and Frederick Beatty of Bucklin, KS his sister, MaryLou Collins and husband Robert of Middletown, a sister-in-law, Nancy Beatty of Warwick, NY and a brother-in-law, Claude Quackenbush of Ocala, FL. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Herb was predeceased by a brother, Newman Beatty and two sisters, Kathleen Beatty and Joan Quackenbush. Interment will be private at the convenience of Herbert's family in Warwick Cemetery. A Gathering of Family and Friends for both Herb Beatty and Joan Quackenbush will be held on August 22, 2009 at the home of MaryLou and Robert Collins in Middletown, NY.
