Obituary of David C. Turner

Mr. David C. Turner, 54 years old, of Gilbert Street, died Tuesday at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. Mr. Turner was born February 14, 1955 in Amsterdam and attended Amsterdam Schools. He was employed by several area companies. Mr. Turner worked for LeRoy Trucking for many years and most recently with National Freight, Inc. of Johnstown. He loved his family and was devoted to his grandchildren. Mr. Turner married the former Louise Hartig on June 26, 1977 who survives. He is also survived by his daughter Tanya E. Michael Naple of Johnstown and three grandchildren; Michael, Christina and James Naple. Mr. Turner was predeceased by his mother Anna Smith. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Monday, June 15, 2009, at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
