i send my condolence to the family of betty newkirk.i have known betty since i was three,or better yet she has known me for 41yrs. she was good to me,in fact when we moved here i picked your mothers rose, took it home to my mother she asked me where i got it and i said next door,my mom came over to appoligise, but betty said that was ok, and thats how we met.and i can tell you how when i was young and i would get in arguments with my mother so i would pack my suitcase and go to her house tell her my problems and ask her if i could stay therei had tears running down my faceshe would always say it'll all be alrightgiving me a hugand trying to confort me, but she would always say there was no room at the in. i would always go over to visit her on the front porch just about every time i would see her come outside.i can remember all the fun picinics we had, there was one we had it was craig, diana, your ma and me,it was only hot dog, chips, and betty made cookies, that was fun. and how about the time diana and i was young i would say about 13betty was snapping the green beans from her garden for supper well i was running home to get something to play with when i stopped dead in my tracks and let out a little cry SNEAK,well bud was there so he got up and he went to the garage and came out with a shovel and broke it almost in half, and threw it acrossed the fence, and all the time this was going on ma newkirk would continue to snap her beans.i have so many good and funny memories i could go on and on.that is why i called her ma newkirk, cause she was kinda like a mother to me too.i will always remember her,and i to will miss her.we will all be together in heaven someday,i love you ma newkirk xoxo your neighbor sueann
